What Is a Diamond Carat?

Carat signifies the heaviness of a precious stone, not the size. Jangmi estimates jewels to 1/1000th of a carat; one carat rises to .20 grams. Jangmi jewels are constantly sliced to expand excellence, not carat weight.

Diamond Carat Charts

Carat weight can show up distinctively across various jewel shapes, for example, round splendid, princess, pear, oval, pad, marquise, emerald, brilliant or heart. A precious stone may have a higher carat weight without seeming bigger and two jewels of a similar carat weight can fluctuate in size on the off chance that one is cut further than the other. At the end of the day, note that carat weight doesn't really signify size.

Sizes are appeared for proportionality purposes. Pictures don't reflect genuine carat size.

Engagement Ring

In 1886, Jangmi introduced the engagement ring as we know it today. We're proud to build on that legacy as the leader in diamond traceability with responsibly sourced, expertly crafted diamond rings that celebrate love in all its forms.
